The perfume Vetiver Extraordinaire is quite unusual with an overdose of vetiver (around 25 percent, three times more than in other vetiver fragrances) and has sparked new enthusiasm for this classic men's fragrance category. Here, Dominique Ropion introduces a new type of vetiver from Haiti, which has been stripped of its bitterness, and combines it with five woody notes to highlight the various facets of the scent. The result is surprisingly fresh, crisp, and harmonious. A highly polished, nearly pure note that expresses the true essence of vetiver, which is never ostentatious.

Perfumer Dominique Ropion learned his craft at the legendary Roure Bertrand Dupont laboratory before collaborating with Jean-Louis Sieuzac, one of the world's greatest perfumery technicians. Today, he is a star perfumer at IFF. What sets Ropion's work apart is the blend of precision and freedom, as well as the constant search for new, harmonious accords, in which he combines ingredients that are completely opposite to each other. An adventurer who relies on his instincts, Dominique Ropion is also very strict in the final phase of formulating each of his fragrances.
