In boxing, as in perfume, it’s about encountering oneself. An encounter with rituals and gestures. It is also a moment of pure energy that must be both elegant and powerful. With precise rules and respect for the opponent, boxing became a gentleman's sport at the end of the 19th century. Inspired by boxing legend Georges Carpentier, who was also known in America as the "Orchid Man," the fragrance emphasizes his ingenuity, skill, and courage. David Frossard, himself a connoisseur of the boxing world, took all of this into account when he conceived the idea for a fresh, elegant, powerful, and masculine perfume. Jérôme Epinette, whom he had met a few years earlier, was entrusted with interpreting this both animalistic and intellectual world.
