The organic orange blossom hydrosol is distilled from the freshly picked flowers of the bitter orange tree, which is cultivated organically in Morocco. In natural cosmetics, it is considered a cleansing and nourishing facial toner suitable for all skin types, especially benefiting dry and mature skin, as well as impure skin due to its valuable components. As a body spray, it has a balancing, calming, and relaxing effect. It is ideal for refreshing during travel or in case of hot flashes, as well as serving as a floral and slightly bitter addition to natural perfumes and relaxing room sprays.

Historically, it was primarily the orange blossom water, rather than the essential oil of the bitter orange, that was used. This water, known as "agua de azahar," was brought to Spain by the Arabs and later became popular in Italy. Like almost all citrus species, the bitter orange originates from China but has been cultivated for centuries in the Mediterranean countries, where it has traditionally been used in herbal medicine.

The orange blossom, also known as Neroli, is valued in traditional Chinese medicine as well as in Mediterranean herbal medicine for treating sleep disorders (in both children and adults), headaches, nervousness, and digestive issues such as stomach cramps. Discorides (1555) referred to orange blossom water as a "tonic for the heart and stomach, useful for treating fainting spells after childbirth" – and it remains very popular among midwives and new mothers today.

Aside from its medicinal uses, Neroli has always been used as a wonderfully sweet, intensely floral perfume for scenting people, clothing, and homes. The hydrosol is naturally preserved with radish root extract and is certified as organic cosmetics by NaTrue.
