Krill oil encapsulated without any additives. Free from magnesium stearate, flavourings, colourings & fillers, stabilisers and preservatives. Also lactose-free, gluten-free and GMO-free. Krill oil is obtained from Antarctic krill (lat. Euphausia superba), a shrimp-like small crustacean that lives in huge shoals in the Southern Ocean. Krill oil contains high-quality omega 3 fatty acids and omega 6 fatty acids. Krill oil also contains vitamin A and vitamin E, as well as asthaxanthin and canthaxanthin. Both are substances from the carotene family that have an antioxidant effect. Unlike many fish, krill are at the top of the food chain, feed on plant plankton and are therefore hardly contaminated with heavy metals and pesticides.
