Provital Complex + DHA capsules provide comprehensive support with Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA), vitamins, and minerals. They are specifically designed for women who are trying to conceive, during pregnancy, and while breastfeeding. Since many women are not sufficiently supplied with vitamins and minerals before pregnancy, the intake of micronutrients is important as soon as the desire for children arises. The Swiss Society for Nutrition recommends taking 400 µg of folic acid at least four weeks before conception to prevent neural tube defects. Zinc plays a crucial role in cell division and immune system function and should also be provided in adequate amounts. Pregnant and breastfeeding women require an increased amount of DHA, iron, and iodine, which is often not covered by diet alone.
