The Omega-3 Daily capsules make it easy to ensure a supply of two essential omega-3 fatty acids. Each recommended daily dose contains 576 mg DHA and 288 mg EPA.
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are considered essential omega-3 fatty acids and must be taken in daily with food. Although the body can produce some of them itself from alpha-linolenic acid, this conversion is not always efficient. EPA and DHA are mainly found in oily fish species. The vegan omega-3 alternative from algae oil is therefore particularly - but not exclusively - suitable for vegans and vegetarians. The omega-3 is obtained from marine algae. The tin lasts for approx. one month.
