Dulcosoft Macrogol 4000 ready-to-use solution. Dulcosoft is a ready-to-use solution that gently relieves constipation and softens hard stools. It is a stool softener for the symptomatic treatment of constipation that provides a natural feeling of relief. Directions for use: Dulcosoft has a neutral flavour and can be mixed directly with a drink of your choice, such as a glass of water, fruit juice or tea (approx. 150 ml). Dosage: Adults and children aged 8 and over: 20-40 ml in the morning. Children from 4-7 years: 16-32 ml. Children aged 2-3 years: 8-16 ml. The effect sets in after 24-72 hours. Pregnant women should consult their doctor before taking it. For diabetics: the solution is sugar-free. Do not use as sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for children under 8 years of age. Dulcosoft is a salt-free macrogol formulation. Macrogol works like a sponge by absorbing the water drunk and transporting it to the intestine. There the stool is softened and gains volume. The natural bowel movement starts and digestion is gently set in motion - for a normal, soft stool within approx. 24-72 hours, usually within a day.
