The Drive Standard Wheelchair Ecotec 2G without drum brakes is an exceptionally lightweight, maneuverable, and functional wheelchair for everyday use. It combines thoughtful features with high stability and driving comfort. The swing-away armrests allow for easy side entry and facilitate transfers, while the removable footplates with heel straps provide additional support. The seat height can be individually adjusted between 46 and 51 cm, making it optimally suited to the needs of the user. For comfortable seating, the wheelchair is equipped with a padded backrest and seat cushion. The aluminum fork features a three-level height adjustment, offering additional flexibility in driving behavior. The powder-coated steel push rim is easy to grip and durable for everyday use. The integrated brake lever extension is both extendable and foldable – ideal for individuals with limited reach. The standard quick-release axle allows for fast mounting and dismounting of the wheels, which is particularly practical for transport. With a 175 x 45 mm PU front wheel and a 24" solid rubber drive wheel at the back, the wheelchair is reliable and smooth on various surfaces. The Ecotec 2G is crash-tested according to ISO 7176-19 and is approved for transporting individuals in vehicles, provided that approved occupant and wheelchair restraint systems are used.
