The Concept
Feminine and fresh, Dolce&Gabbana Dolce embodies the delicate balance between timeless craftsmanship and innovation in the art of perfume composition. Dolce is the personal touch, the signature scent. It represents the simplicity of a result achieved through a complex process: the same one required to create a finely embroidered dress. “The nobility of the soul, the elegance of everyday gestures, the joy of sharing from generation to generation, and the effortless perfection of a single white flower. This is the image of Sicily that I carry within me, and that is captured in this delicate fragrance,” says Domenico Dolce.

The Design
The elegant packaging of Dolce&Gabbana Dolce resembles a vintage perfume bottle. Thick, clear glass with gently curved lines gives the design a contemporary touch. The floral cap pays tribute to Sicilian customs and is designed to represent the marzipan sculptures found in traditional Sicilian pastry shops. A thin black grosgrain ribbon, presented in an elegant bow, evokes memories of the white shirts and bow ties that were a hallmark of early Dolce&Gabbana fashion shows. The final and most personal touch: Dolce, signed in a flourish of black script, a replica of Domenico Dolce's father's signature.
