A reminder of the sacred forests of Indochina and the velvety, milky scent of sandalwood burnt in temples. Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of diptyque, has never forgotten this scent from his childhood, illustrated by sandalwood from Mysore, cooled by vibrant cypress and myrtle wood. Did you know that? In order to obtain a higher quality of sandalwood from the East Indies, it is extracted from trees that are over 60 years old, which means that the oil is extremely rare.
