Diptyque Do Son

As a child, Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of the house, spent his summers by the sea in the pagoda that his father had built in Do Son in Ha Long Bay. Far from the humid heat of the bustling port of Haiphong, the air there was cooler. The sea breeze carried the scent of tuberoses, their intoxicating, sweet-spicy fragrance that his mother loved so much. Do Son embodies the tenderness and permanence of a childhood memory from Indochina. A memory of flowers, balancing between lightness and sensuality. In the Eau de Parfum, the tuberose is even more resonant. One can almost smell it at dusk, when the white flowers stand out against the darkness of the wooden pagoda.
