For the intensive treatment of oral biofilm, the alcohol-free chlorhexidine gel is suitable for tooth brushing and local application. The chlorhexidine product contains 0.12% chlorhexidine digluconate (CHX) and combats plaque during daily brushing. Due to its consistency, the dental gel can be used both for brushing teeth and for direct application to affected areas. It supports care during the maintenance phase to preserve good periodontal health and is suitable for use after dental treatments (e.g., professional teeth cleaning). It serves as daily plaque control for individuals with excessive accumulation of dental plaque (oral biofilm). The reduction of plaque is supported by scientific studies, and it helps prevent plaque formation in patients with an increased risk of cavities (e.g., those with orthodontic appliances).

The gel contains chlorhexidine digluconate (CHX), which effectively combats oral biofilm (plaque), as well as xylitol, which moisturizes the oral cavity and has a cavity-preventive effect.
