ConvaTec Base plates

Natura products are two-part systems in which the base plate and pouch are connected to each other via a locking ring coupling. An audible click gives a feeling of maximum security that the base plate and pouch are firmly connected. With its curved shape, the convex Combihesive Natura base plate gently restrains the stoma-bearing skin and prominently elevates retracted stomas from the skin level. In this way, the plate securely encloses the stoma and optimally protects the skin from irritation.

The Durahesive skin protector is particularly suitable for stoma wearers with mushy to liquid excretions and a longer wearing time. The flexible adhesive edge in an oval shape is perfect for stoma wearers with moist, sweat-covered skin. If you have a plaster edge allergy, it is recommended to use the hydrocolloid adhesive edge instead.
