Colibiogen is a cell- and protein-free preparation obtained from the metabolic products of Escherichia coli, strain Laves. Colibiogen is a mucosal therapeutic agent with an anti-inflammatory and immunoregulatory effect. The site of action is the immunological unit mucosa. As it does not contain any living organisms, it is not a symbiotic agent and is therefore not used to directly build up the intestinal bacterial flora. However, a healthy mucous membrane is an important prerequisite for the natural bacterial flora to colonise there. Colibiogen can help an inflamed intestinal mucosa to regenerate. It therefore has the function of a mucosal and immunotherapeutic agent. The concentration of Colibiogen Children is adapted to the child's organism and contains no alcohol. It is used for intestinal disorders and as an immunotherapeutic agent, for example for putrefactive and fermentative dyspepsia, maldigestion, meteorism, Roemheld's symptom complex, functional diarrhoea and irritable bowel syndrome. Directions: Take 5ml (1 teaspoon) 1-3 times a day half an hour before meals.
