Caya Diaphragm Gel
Intimate gel, Minimum order 3More than 10 pieces in stock at third-party supplier
Product details
With each sexual intercourse, you apply the gel to the membrane cavity and the outer ring of the Caya diaphragm. The pH of the gel is acidic, creating an environment that is unfavorable for sperm. This slows down the motility of the sperm. The Caya Gel also contains cellulose, which provides an additional mechanical barrier at the cervix. At the same time, the gel positively affects the vaginal flora. In multiple ways, it offers enhanced effectiveness. Caya Gel is identical to the Contracep green produced from 1972 to 2002, as well as the Contragel green available since 2005. This lactic acid-based formulation was already evaluated in a comparative study of various diaphragm gels and creams in 1989 as being just as safe as products containing Nonoxynol-9, but with significantly lower potential for side effects.

Instructions for use | Before insertion into the vagina, about one teaspoon (approx. 4 ml) of Caya® Gel is placed in the membrane of the diaphragm or cervical cap. The respective instructions for use should be followed. The vaginal applicator is optionally used if additional gel is to be placed in front of the existing diaphragm (e.g. the new Caya® contoured diaphragm, PZN 09224698) during intercourse. The vaginal applicator can be used several times, but should be cleaned with warm water after each use. |
