Caya Diaphragm Gel (60g)

Caya Gel has a motility-inhibiting effect on sperm. You apply this gel to the membrane cavities and the outer ring of the Caya diaphragm during each sexual intercourse. The pH value of the gel is acidic and thus creates a sperm-unfriendly environment in the vagina. At the same time, the gel has a positive effect on the vaginal flora. Improved effectiveness in two respects.
By using contraception without hormones, you also avoid many undesirable side effects such as weight gain, headaches, nausea, breast tenderness, depressive moods, nervousness, reduced libido, acne, abdominal pain, increased risk of thrombosis in smokers, intermenstrual bleeding, to name just the most common.

  • also compatible with condoms made of natural rubber latex or polyurethane

Caya Gel is identical to Contragel green. This lactic acid-based composition has been assessed as being just as safe as products containing nonoxynol-9, but with a significantly lower potential for side effects.

Lactic acid, sodium lactate, cellulose, sorbic acid, water.
Instructions for use
Before insertion into the vagina, about one teaspoon (approx. 4 ml) of Caya® Gel is placed in the membrane of the diaphragm or cervical cap. The respective instructions for use should be followed. The vaginal applicator is optionally used if additional gel is to be placed in front of the existing diaphragm (e.g. the new Caya® contoured diaphragm, PZN 09224698) during intercourse. The vaginal applicator can be used several times, but should be cleaned with warm water after each use.
