This evocation of contrasts and fascination is also shown by the noble raw materials: A tangy hint of citrus and spices is immediately transported by the top notes of mandarin, coriander and cumin; in the heart, all volatility is forgotten, traditional and elegant, creamy leather fixes the scent together with labdanum, while a smoky mantle of narcotic tobacco envelops everything.At the base are ancient resins and woods, both sacred and profane - olibanum, also known as incense, with its notes of sacred, aromatic sweetness, oud and sandalwood with their nuanced and soothing woody accents.
