When is Burgerstein Iron plus used? Iron is the central trace element for blood formation. Responsible for oxygen transport in the red blood pigment (haemoglobin). Hemoglobin is important for optimal energy metabolism. Compensation of iron losses during menstruation, after operations. Compensation of increased iron requirements during pregnancy and lactation. in athletes: compensates for increased iron losses; reduces hyperacidity in the muscles. Ideal food supplement for a diet with little meat. Special information. Contains not only iron but the most important nutrients required for blood formation such as vitamin C, B vitamins (B6, B12, folic acid), copper, etc. Contains moderately dosed, easily digestible organic iron and is therefore well tolerated.
