Product details

Especially for the special problem cases during the interim period, dentists recommend Protefix Adhesive Pads for lower and upper jaw dentures to fill the resulting cavities. The adhesive pads are made of fine, palate-friendly fleece material that contains sodium alginate and enhances the adhesive power when slightly moistened. This way, the pads provide effective protection against pressure sores and inflammation. In addition to their importance in interim dentures, they have also proven effective in cases of significant jaw resorption—particularly in the lower jaw—when it is very narrow or severely flattened. For wearers of complete dentures with extreme adhesion problems, Protefix Adhesive Pads are often the last resort when nothing else seems to hold.
