Application: The intensely flavored quince juice quenches thirst excellently and adds a special touch to mixed drinks. Tip: Mix one part quince juice with one part mineral water or sparkling wine. Serve chilled.
Special Features: The quince originally belongs to the rose family and comes from Persia and the Caucasus (at least 4000 BC). Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179), who received the highest Catholic honor as a Doctor of the Church from the Pope in 2012, also recommended quince for human nutrition. For our Demeter quince juice, apple and pear quinces are harvested from biodynamic cultivation and gently pressed into direct juice by us, without the addition of sugar or concentrate. The invigorating aroma of this traditionally popular fruit among connoisseurs is therefore largely preserved.
