Bamboo comb 13cm

Our goal is to use renewable resources and reduce single-use plastics. Therefore, this comb is made from bamboo, and the packaging is made from kraft paper. Due to the rapid growth of bamboo, large quantities can be harvested annually without endangering the stock. Some species of bamboo can grow up to 30 meters tall and can grow one meter per day. After just a few years, the stems begin to harden and can be used economically. Many species of bamboo have extensive root systems from which new plants continuously grow. Therefore, cutting down a bamboo stem does not kill the entire plant, as is the case with trees. The rapid growth also means that bamboo can store an extremely large amount of CO2 compared to trees.
