Triphala, also known as the three fruits, is considered the most important dietary supplement and the key Rasayana in Ayurveda. It consists of equal parts of the three fruits Amalaki (Indian gooseberry), Haritaki (chebulic myrobalan), and Bibhitaki (belliric myrobalan). Amalaki primarily calms Pitta, Haritaki mainly harmonizes Vata, and Bibhitaki primarily soothes Kapha.
