Autan Tropical Dry Spray

The protection provided by a single application of Autan Multi Insect Pump Spray keeps mosquitoes away for up to 8 hours and ticks and biting flies away for up to 4 hours. It is also effective against tiger mosquitoes for up to 6 hours. The active ingredient Icaridin ensures that mosquitoes are repelled. However, it is important that you apply the product without any gaps. Otherwise the mosquitoes will seek out the areas that have not been treated with the repellent. After this time or as required, you should repeat the application. We recommend using e.g. 6 - 7 sprays / ~ 1ml for the area of a forearm. Please note that Autan is not waterproof. So always renew the protection after bathing/swimming. Sweat and abrasion also cause the effect to wear off sooner. You will then need to spray more often if necessary. For use on the face, we recommend spraying the spray onto the palms of your hands and then spreading it over your face. However, please avoid the eye area. Incidentally, mosquitoes can also bite through very thin clothing, so apply under clothing if necessary. It is always important to apply the product completely. If you are using Autan and sunscreen (or other cosmetics) at the same time, we recommend applying Autan after you have already applied sunscreen. Note on disposal: Do not reuse the packaging, but dispose of it empty in the recycling centre.
