Perfumer Marie Hugentobler selects the extraordinary daffodils that grow in the French Aubrac mountains for this scent. Almost 1,600 kilograms of these wildflowers, harvested by local growers, are needed to produce one kilogram of daffodil absolute, with its powerful and delicate floral facets. In Narcisse Taiji, the perfumer highlights the opposing forces of this precious and multifaceted flower. The luminous and vegetal side of the freshly picked flower is contrasted with the dark and animalistic side of the daffodil, enhanced by leather and patchouli accents.
