Product details

The roots of the iris plant are hand-peeled, washed, air-dried, and finally distilled after long storage. The production of the absolute takes over six years, making iris one of the most valuable raw materials in perfumery. Here, perfumer Marie Hugentobler selects an extraordinary natural iris from the dry valley of the Atlas. In Iris Ebène, she creates a contrasting composition in which the iris reveals its dark and sensual side, blending with woods, balsam, and musk. A gentle and structured leather unfolds slowly, leaving an addictive trail, as soft as a cashmere sweater.
