Opus VII is based on a wild swirl of spices and rare resins and is a reflection on how seductive knowledge is. A reckless leather blooms through an intensely green opening of sticky galbanum and dazzlingly fresh cardamom and nutmeg. Nutty fenugreek, wildly smoky rays of cypriol and the animalic call of costus and ambergris support the brazen leather centrepiece, while a froth of fluttery muscone, sandalwood and incense provides a harmonious and carnal finish. Evoking a sense of peace after a bold, green opening, Opus VII becomes a lesson in sapiosexuality, subtly teaching that the seduction of the mind is more powerful than that of the eyes.
