The creation of Ashorenahm took me on a dreamy journey through the olfactory landscape of the East Coast of Oman. I floated under the dazzling sun at the coast of Ras al Jinz, intoxicated by the scent of jasmine, which pierced the sky as an extremely bright solar chord. I was enveloped by the surreal brilliance of the sun cascading down onto the endless white sandy beaches, capturing the salty mineral notes of amber reminiscent of the waves breaking on the shore. India is just a few kilometers away, and notes of cardamom and turmeric evoke the scent of spices that the wind carries along with the jasmine like a whisper to awaken.
