Alpinamed Frankincense-Cannabis capsules are a dietary supplement in the form of vegan soft capsules for oral intake. The capsules contain a solubilized frankincense extract produced by Alpinamed in Switzerland, cannabis oil, as well as vegan vitamin D, beta-carotene, and vitamins C and E. Vegan vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function. Vitamin C supports the normal formation of collagen for the normal function of bones and cartilage. Beta-carotene is the most important precursor of vitamin A in foods and is therefore also referred to as provitamin A. Unlike vitamin A, excessive intake of beta-carotene cannot lead to vitamin A hypervitaminosis. Vitamin A helps maintain normal mucous membranes, such as those found in the intestines. Vitamin E protects the sensitive contents of the capsules from oxidation and helps to protect body cells from oxidative stress.
