Alpinamed Borage Oil

Contains vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids from the omega-6 group. Borage oil capsules are a dietary supplement containing borage oil and vitamin E. Each capsule contains 500 mg of pure oil extracted from selected borage seeds (Borago officinalis) through gentle pressing, combined with naturally sourced vitamin E. Borage oil contains polyunsaturated fatty acids from the omega-6 group, such as gamma-linolenic acid (18 to 25%) and linoleic acid (34 to 45%). Vitamin E stabilizes cell membranes and unsaturated fatty acids and can act as an antioxidant to neutralize free radicals. The soft capsules are purely plant-based and easy to swallow. The borage oil capsules are rigorously tested for purity and quality from raw materials to the final product to ensure optimal quality. Unsaturated fatty acids are highly sensitive and can be quickly destroyed by oxygen in the air, rendering them ineffective. Alpinamed has developed a novel method for stabilizing fatty acids. An extract derived from rosemary leaves utilizes this specific process, which effectively protects the oxidation-sensitive oils from oxidation. Studies convincingly demonstrate that unsaturated fatty acids can be stabilized using this specialized method. The natural compounds found in rosemary have a high antioxidant potential and protect the borage oil capsules from oxidative damage and rancidity. Additionally, the capsules contain natural vitamin E as an extra layer of oxidation protection.
