If specific body areas of the patient that are particularly at risk for pressure ulcers, such as the ischial tuberosities when sitting, need targeted pressure relief, foam cubes from the aks-variosit can be removed from the underside of the cushion. This removal is reversible, meaning the foam cubes can also be reinserted into the open spaces from the underside of the cushion if needed.
