Instructions for use
- Before you start inserting the pessary, you should wash your hands. - To make insertion easier, the use of a lubricant such as Ladysoft has proven effective, or you can use the oestrogen cream prescribed by your doctor. - Place the pessary in the position shown to you by your doctor. To do this, first insert the folded pessary into the posterior vaginal vault and then push the shell upwards to the front. The pessary is seated correctly if it does not pinch. If the mesh pessary is not placed correctly, it will not be able to fulfil its supporting function and may slip out under pressure.
