What you should definitely pay attention to when buying protective masks and what other retailers might conveniently omit: It is important that, in addition to quality assurance, a type examination of the masks has been conducted by an authorized testing body. You should request confirmation that both Module B and Module C2 or Module D of the PPE regulation have been tested by the designated body (confirmation available upon request). Instructions must also be included or at least clearly visible on the packaging. If the masks are sold individually, each mask must come with a copy of the instructions.
