Body fluids, skin damage from medical adhesives, friction, and incontinence can quickly lead to skin injury. Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film is an alcohol-free, non-irritating skin protectant that protects intact and damaged skin from fluids and irritants for up to 72 hours. A breathable protective film helps shield damaged skin and reduce skin injuries. It is transparent, allowing for continuous monitoring of at-risk skin. The unique formula provides long-lasting protection and does not interfere with the absorbency of incontinence products.

Application: Clean the skin and thoroughly dry it. Apply Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film evenly to the desired area, holding the spray 10 to 15 cm away from the skin. Allow to dry for 30 to 60 seconds, keeping skin folds apart until completely dry. Apply a maximum of 2 layers of Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film on top of each other – too many layers can reduce the long-term protective effect. Do not use in conjunction with creams, lotions, or emollient cleansing solutions. Renew Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film only every 2 to 3 days or with each dressing change under adhesive dressings.
