Is the quality robust? Our child (18 months) has already broken several remote control cars. But they were of poor quality (Hot Wheels, thin plastic).

I can only confirm the statement. The car is very robust.
The car is very solidly built and doesn't break down quickly. Our little one has already let it fall down the stairs several times and it has also fallen off the dining table. So far, it has not suffered any damage.
