Question about DJI Phantom 4 Pro+
Initial commissioning linked to requirements? The Quick Start Guide states, "First-time activation requires your DJI account and internet connection." Does this mean you just have to create an account and you can start using the drone immediately, or can you only use it once you have been authorised by DJI?
As far as I remember, my "simply create a user account and can start immediately".
This does not mean an external, manual release.
Rather, it means that the local release and registration takes place, which requires GPS reception and a user account to which the drone is to be registered. As far as GPS reception is concerned, I got myself into a tight spot indoors because my drone persistently believed it was in China when I switched it on for the first time. Therefore, my tip is to carry out this first initialisation in the open air, and to carry out this first switch-on procedure with the propellers removed. That way it should work quickly.
