Hello Community. Two questions about the Big Sand and Water Mussel. 1. the instruction leaflet warns against placing the shell on a hard surface. Why? Because the children could fall hard, or what could be the reason? 2. does anyone know exactly what plastic the shell is made of? Thanks for the information!

Regarding your questions:
1) Weiss isn't sure why except that it might be uneven and the kids might slide.  My daughter has it on her grass lawn and it works well there.
2) Plastic was fine and didn't smell, ergo -- presumably -- not too many chemicals.
