Question about LEGO Titanic

I just got an email. The article is sold out at the supplier. At the same time, however, the Titanic is offered for 300 more. Absolute cheek. I simply feel cheated. I don't know if I will order from Galaxus in the future.

Same situation here. As someone wrote in another comment on this, the question is whether this is even okay from a legal point of view.

I am also affected. I have written to the customer service. Of course Galaxis can only do so much. But I think the communication is bad: "sold out" but if you search, it's available. Even earlier than the previous delivery date... Then I would have preferred an email informing me that the price has gone up by a third and I have to pay the difference or the order will be cancelled.

It was the same for me. But Galaxus can't be held responsible for the more expensive offer, this is an external dealer who sells for this price. I'm getting more and more fed up with the grey traders who "hoard" items and then resell them at a higher price. Not only with LEGO.

Ordered in December 21 for 689 Fr., delivered in May 22, delivery time five months. When I look at the price development, I am very glad that I ordered back then.

The problem is the extreme difference between supply and demand. The model is so popular that on the one hand Lego can't keep up with production and on the other hand the models are constantly being bought up by middlemen like Spielmix and others in order to sell them on with hefty surcharges. And as long as there are people who buy the Titanic for just under 1000, the prices will not go down.
What to do?
-Visit Ricardo, Amazon, etc. on a regular basis. There are always buyers who want to sell the Titanic as a second-hand model at much lower prices.
-Wait and hope that the interest in the model will decrease. According to Lego, the Titanic will be produced until 2024, so there is still a chance to get the model.

Same with me, ordered in May with order confirmation and now after x times delay in delivery a cancellation. But the article is available under the same number, only 300CHF surcharge - that's not possible. When I ordered, there were several in stock.
