In the center of the table lie princesses, pirates, jesters, cooks, and other playing cards that need to be adorned with the appropriate headgear. Hidden above them, hats wait to be revealed and moved to the correct head. This happens secretly, so players must carefully follow the "invisible" headpieces to notice when a matching head/hat combination has formed somewhere. Those who are not vigilant may quickly end up with a bald head that can only disappear under a magic hat. "On the Alert" is a fun and easily accessible card game for children and families, lasting about 20 minutes. It was developed by Alexey Konnov, Alexey Paltsev, and Anatoly Shklyarov, and lovingly illustrated by Michele Cavaloti.
