Link Monsters and the new changes to the official rules make you think about where to play a card on the field. Code of the Duelist introduces the first duel strategies where the position of a card is just as important as which cards you play. With Link Monsters, there are endless possibilities for new strategies, and Code of the Duelist kicks off with 3 of them while also bringing additional cards to strengthen strategies from the new Starter Deck – Link Strike.

This is just a taste of what awaits you with Link Summons. Code of the Duelist also introduces the first brand-new "Lightsworn" monsters since Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn from 2016. A mysterious shadow has fallen over the realm of light, granting the Lightsworn new power – at a cost. You can also enhance your Pendulum Domination Structure Deck with upgraded versions of D/D/D Doom King Alexander or D/D/D Wave King Caesar, learn more about the origins of monsters like Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, and acquire a new monster for the rescue unit.
