Winmau Dartboard Set Blade 5 / Broadside

As the successor to the successful "Blade 4" model, Winmau has developed the completely new Blade 5, pushing the limits of dartboard technology. It meets all the requirements of the British Dart Organization as well as the World Dart Federation. The English traditional brand Winmau has 60 years of experience in the production of dartboards, making it unmatched in perfection and technical craftsmanship. In particular, the latest model, Generation 5, features a newly developed, uniquely pressed flat wire to ensure the absolute secure entry of the dart (without bounce-outs).

The even thinner wiring and the reduced angle of the wire from 90 degrees to 60 degrees provide approximately 9 mm² more scoring area on the doubles and a 6 mm² larger hitting area on the triples. The resulting 14% smaller surface area of the metal spider significantly reduces bounce-outs, allowing for higher scoring opportunities.

The new Rota-Lock system with its three adjustable leveling knobs allows the board to be perfectly adjusted even on uneven walls. Even when firmly pulling out the dart, the board remains absolutely fixed thanks to the new patented mounting system from Winmau. Additionally, the new mounting system allows for much quicker rotation of the board to distribute wear on the target areas.

The bullseye and the 25 ring have also been significantly hardened and sharpened through carbon diffusion technology, positively impacting both the hit rate and durability. The entire dartboard is free from any mounting clips of the metal spider. The highest quality sisal fibers ensure a particularly long lifespan. It is traditionally suitable for steel darts (with metal tips) but also works excellently for soft darts (with plastic tips).
