Just in time for the premiere of the new Fendt 900 Vario large tractors, the latest generation of tractors from Marktoberdorf is also available at WIKING. With 400 hp, the 942 Vario serves as the premiere model and the new flagship of the series. It is considered the unmatched top model of the newly presented 900 Vario series in July 2019. The new series, with five models ranging from 296 to 415 hp, has been completely newly developed and resembles the innovative 1000 Fendt more in appearance. The new 900 is larger than its predecessor but more compact than its bigger brother. Weighing nearly 11,800 kilograms, it has gained about 900 kilograms, and the wheelbase has increased by 10 centimeters. This is also demonstrated by the powerful 1:87 model, which showcases the proven detail precision of WIKING agricultural models. This applies to the defining main optics as well as to the interior of the high-tech cabin. A glance at the tractor hood quickly reveals the high print quality – even the newly designed Fendt lettering with model designation is legible. But that's not all. The driver's cabin boasts a delicacy that even allows for the discovery of front and rear windshield wipers and silvered headlights. Under the hood of the Fendt 942 Vario purrs a nine-liter engine from MAN, specifically designed for Fendt.
