Product details
In 1977, it was the well-known Scania 111 LB that brought freshness to the Wiking program. Recently, the Henschel HS 14/16 reminded us of the golden age of the Hamburg shipping company, and now the MAN Pausbacke transforms the popular semi-trailers into a contemporary trio! Founded in 1931, the Hamburg shipping company is one of the oldest businesses in the Hanseatic city and has maintained an illustrious fleet of major truck brands. With 80 years of experience in shipping and logistics, the Hanseatic people consider themselves experts – whether in groupage, container, hazardous materials, or refrigerated transport. The Pausbacke is perfect for an authentic semi-trailer: in 1967, Wiking's head, Fritz Peltzer, dramatically yet aptly announced the MAN Pausbacke under program number “51g” as the “Large suitcase semi-trailer – now with MAN 10.230.” Almost six decades later, the new semi-trailer transforms the former single-axle trailer into a two-axle model with new shapes. The classic truck adds even more authenticity to the overall model appearance. The traditional model makers have consciously emphasized the prototype fidelity of the former Wiking model and constructed the new second version based on the identical single-axle trailer, featuring exquisite engravings. The rear doors can, of course, be opened, and the roof is designed with a surrounding rain gutter. Additionally, Wiking has also considered the position lights on the front of the trailer. The taillights and license plate are raised on the rear. The upper part of the cab is ivory beige, while the lower part is red. The interior is fawn brown. The chassis and Trilex rims are red. The purplish-red grille features a silvered MAN emblem and hand-painted headlights. The turn signals are yellow-orange. The trailer chassis has a support leg in red, as do the rims and double fenders. The trailer box has ivory beige doors, with side box printing featuring a red belly band and the inscription “Hamburger Spedition.”.
