Picture-word cards for vocabulary training in German as a second language. The learning cards I and II are aligned with the exercise books 'Welcome to Germany - German as a Second Language I and II', but can also be used independently. The cards are in A8 format and feature a word on one side and the corresponding image on the other. The image side includes space for children to write the word in their first language. For nouns, the articles are color-coded: masculine = blue, feminine = red, neuter = green. The word types noun, verb, and adjective are marked on the image side. All words are equipped with a colored syllable divider in blue/red. The learning cards I and II contain the vocabulary from the curricula for German as a second language in elementary school. The topics of learning cards II include: introduction, country of origin, food and drink, shopping, home, weather, seasons, time, means of transportation, sports, hobbies, and leisure activities.
