Product details

Shiva is one of the most important gods in Hinduism. As part of the Hindu Trinity, he represents the forces of nature along with the gods Brahma and Vishnu, and symbolizes destruction.

However, without destruction, no new beginning is possible, which is why he plays a dual role. He has four arms, a third eye on his forehead that represents omniscience, and is usually depicted with blue skin, partly because blue is the color of the gods, and partly because Shiva drank the poison from the primordial ocean to save the universe, which turned his neck blue.

Shiva wears the cobra as a symbol of cosmic energy and thus also serves as a symbol of fertility.

This Indian deity figure is made of art stone and has been painted by the artist with bronze paint.
