Vogler Ägyptische Göttin Isis

The goddess Isis took the form of a human. She represented royal power. Isis was the wife of Osiris and the mother of Horus. She connected the earthly realm with the afterlife and was simultaneously a goddess of the dead and a mother goddess.

She was venerated throughout the land. An important aspect was that she had magical powers as a protective goddess. During the Greco-Roman period, she was worshipped throughout the Roman Empire.

On the island of Philae, she was even worshipped until the 6th century AD.

She is made of artificial stone and was hand-painted.
