Island of the Ghouls is the first adventure campaign for Sandy Petersen’s Cthulhu Mythos. It can be easily integrated into any fantasy world and combines the heroic aspects of the world's greatest role-playing game (5e) with the cosmic horror of H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos.

In four acts, the characters explore the island and the city of Farzeen, encounter ancient powers slumbering in the island's bubbling volcano, explore forgotten temples in the jungle, and find themselves caught in the midst of a ghoul uprising. In the end, they must prevent one of the Great Old Ones from awakening from its slumber and ushering in the end of the world.

Throughout the campaign, characters can level up from level 1 to level 14. The basic rules for 5e and Sandy Petersen’s Cthulhu Mythos are required for play.
