Zwingard, the land of a thousand castles, home to honorable warriors, wandering bards of legend, and mysterious druids, has stood watch over the south of Dragorea for a thousand years. From the forges of Sarfirst to the adorned streets of the capital Sunnafest, from the contested border with Midstad to the massive fortresses in the south, a realm forged by constant threat stretches out. But even here, there are disputes and dangers: followers of the Old and New Ways struggle for influence, wyverns swoop down from the mountain slopes upon their victims, and no one knows what plans the enigmatic inhabitants of the Vanforest in the heart of the land have.

Termark was once a part of Zwingard, but today not much remains. From the ruins of a devastating attack, a divided, ravaged land has emerged, ruled by warlords and marauding bands. Whether in the Portal Fortress of Aldentrutz or in the streets of Garstal: While some strive for the restoration of law and order, Termark ultimately remains a pawn in the conflict of interests battling for influence among the remnants of a once-proud realm.

However, Zwingard and Termark share the constant danger: South of the Arkenir lies a land that lives up to its name – the Bloodgrass Expanse, home to orcs, the enemies of all peoples.
