Trix H0 Tr Steam locomotive 18 323 Db

Until the late sixties, it was a true icon on DB tracks: the powerful express steam locomotive 18 323, which has the potential to become a star in the Trix H0 program as a perfectly designed model. As a strong and fast machine, it was in operation throughout the Federal Republic until 1969 under the management of the Federal Railway Central Office. The new Trix H0 model is therefore a real highlight in any collection and on any layout representing the important DB era III. Its appearance among the then ultra-modern diesel and electric locomotives, as well as the widely used standard steam locomotives, will attract significant attention just like its great prototype did.

Prototype: Express steam locomotive 18 323 with coal tender 2´2 T29.6 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB). Formerly Badische IVh. Test locomotive at the Federal Railway Testing Office in Minden. Black/red basic color scheme. Equipped with Witte wind deflectors and Indusi on the driver's side. Chimney with Caledonian rim. Operational condition around 1966.

Model: With digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Regulated high-performance drive with flywheel in the boiler. 3 axles driven. Traction tires. Locomotive and tender largely made of metal. Factory-installed smoke generator with speed-dependent, dynamic smoke emission, digitally switchable. Direction-dependent changing three-light front signal, conventionally operable, digitally switchable. Driver's cab lighting, chassis lighting, and firebox flickering are also separately digitally switchable. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. Adjustable close coupling with kinematics between locomotive and tender. Kinematically guided close coupling with NEM pocket at the tender. Buffer height at locomotive and tender according to NEM. Minimum radius of operation 360 mm.
