The locomotive features a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It is equipped with centrally mounted, controlled high-efficiency propulsion and has four powered axles with traction tires. The triple headlights and a white marker light (Swiss headlight/marker light code) change with the direction of travel, functioning in conventional operation and being controllable digitally. You can switch between the Swiss headlight/marker light code and a white headlight/red marker light code. The headlights at locomotive ends 1 and 2 can be turned off separately in digital operation. Long-distance headlights and cab lighting can also be controlled digitally, along with warning lights and running authorization lights. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. The locomotive features intricate, single-arm pantographs and separately applied metal grab irons. Its length over the buffers is approximately 21.3 cm (8-3/8").
