Prototype: Electric high-speed train series RCe 2/4 Red Arrow, 3rd class, maintained as a museum vehicle for special trips by Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn AG (OeBB). Restored, the train externally reflects the condition of the mid-1950s in a purplish-red base color of the SBB. Train operating number 607. Operational condition 2023. Model: With digital decoder and extensive light and sound functions. Regulated high-performance drive. Special motor with flywheel and cardan shaft to the drive axle. 2 axles powered. Traction tires. Swiss light change, three-light front signal, and 1 white rear light conventionally operated, digitally switchable. Additionally, it can be switched to a red rear light. Built-in interior lighting as standard. Front signal and interior lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. Various ambient sounds can also be triggered via function buttons. Length over buffers 25.7 cm. In time for the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn, the high-speed train RCe 2/4 607 Red Arrow has been restored to operational condition and can now be rented for special trips. This model is available in alternating current version in the Märklin H0 range under item number 38860.
